Commissioned by one of the nation’s leading Forensic Pathologist, Christopher Happy October 2012. A Forensic Pathologist is an expert on causes of death AKA a coroner. Since watchbots don’t sleep, eventually they need to rest for a very long time. In the Watchbot world the funeral is a ceremony when a watchbot is put away to recharge. The fire sapphire within the coffin, harnesses the watchbot’s life energy like a battery.
This sculpture contains vintage watch and clock parts, real preserved mini roses, genuine garnets, golden topaz, blue spinel, and fire sapphire.
