This animated sculpture is also a lamp. The butterfly’s wings are made of gold filigree featuring genuine black opals. The butterfly’s body is a vintage thermal cut out switch. The wing movements is generated by a hand crank. The crank mechanism is exposed beneath the butterfly in a scene that features two small glass bottles that contain a real butterfly wing, preserved white mini flowers and a mini white rose bud.
