– from a private collection
Features an extremely rare and hard to acquire butterfly called the Blue Birdwing (Ornithoptera Urvillianus) adorned with an aquamarine gemstone and a Cercopia Moth adorned with a rhodelite gemstone. The Cercopia Moth aka Robin Moth, is the largest moth in North America. The Blue Birdwing butterfly doesn’t usually have blue bars going across their forewings. This is so rare that I haven’t even seen another one anywhere. Both creatures hover above a lovely antique brass bush of roses and leaves. The client provided me with these specific specimens.
